Naroki Games is a one-person studio on the south-east coast of Ireland. We build replayable games around a single idea you can feel in the first minute.
Our first game is The Deal Below: a solitaire roguelike where a torch burns down with every move, and the only way out of the dark is a deal you shouldn't take.

Every deal takes you deeper
1930s. An expedition goes into the jungle after a temple that should have stayed buried. You clear tri-peaks solitaire deals by torchlight, and every move burns oil. When the torch goes out, witch fire eats the cards.
Below waits the Dealer, a card god who offers power and always takes something back. Four acts lead from the jungle and the stepped pyramid down into Xibalba, to the trials of its Houses from the Popol Vuh.

Long description
The Deal Below is a tri-peaks solitaire roguelike about a 1930s expedition that goes too deep. Every move burns oil from your torch. When the light fails, the dark and its witch fire start eating the cards on the table.
Recruit expedition members, find items in hidden caches and choose your path across a map that changes every run. Deep below waits the Dealer, a card god whose idols grant great power at a price. Four acts lead from the jungle and a stepped pyramid down into Xibalba, ending at the Houses of Xibalba from the Maya Popol Vuh.
